July 18, 2008 – In a custody agreement, Spears gives Kevin Federline sole custody of the children, but retains visitation rights. August 2008 – Becoming Britney , a musical based on the life of Britney Spears, debuts at the New York International Fringe Festival. September 7, 2008 – Wins Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, and Video of the Year for Piece of Me at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. October 28, 2008 – Jamie Spears is granted permanent conservatorship of Spears’s affairs. September 8, 2010 – Is accused of sexual harassment and sued by her former bodyguard, Fernando Flores. January 11, 2011 – Spears’s single, “Hold It Against Me,” is released and debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. March 29, 2011 – New album, “Femme Fatale,” is released. March 30, 2011 – A $10 million lawsuit is filed by Brand Sense Partners against Spears and her father for breach of contract relating to a perfume deal between Spears and the Elizabeth Arden company. February 2012 – Spears settles out of court the lawsuit filed by Brand Sense Partners for breach of contract.
Britney Spears Releases New Album: 6 Greatest MTV Videos and Songs [See Photos]
They could not get enough of Britney Spears and her awesome dance moves. She then released “You Drive Me Crazy”. This was an OST for the movie “Drive me Crazy” starring Melissa Joan-Hart aka “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”. Britney then made waves with singles “Oops…I Did it Again” wearing a on full body red latex body suit. She always released her “coming out video” showing that she no longer was a little girl in her video “I’m a Slave 4 U”. People loved Britney, she was toned, sexy and danced like only she could do it best. It was a rather controversial video that earned Britney many MTV Awards. She then teamed up with Queen of Pop Madonna for the song “Me Against the Music” and yes, it was a tremendous success. Over the years, Britney had slowed down from her little run in with trouble but she came back with a video that was a little similar to “I’m A Slave 4 U” called “Till the World Ends”. People had hoped she would be dancing more but with a knee injury, she looked really sexy and gorgeous in her video. We can all hope for some of the old Britney moves as Britney Spears will be releasing her new album. The pop princess has even tweeted “Just finishing up with my vocal coach & now I’m off to dance rehearsals. How’s everyone’s Friday?

Earlier today, Melissa Joan Hart shared a #TBT photo celebrating her friendship with another popular star of the decade. You may have heard of her: Britney Spears ? “Me and Britney back in the day,” Melissa wrote with the photo. Kinda makes you feel ancient, huh? A little back story: In 1999, Melissa starred in the movie” Drive Me Crazy ,”and even appeared in Britney’s music video for the film’s title song . That same year, Brit returned the favor and guest-starred on Season 4 of “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” where she was summoned to give Sabrina a private concert. And you thought Selena and Taylor were tight! Melissa told her Instagram followers that the snapshot is just a tease of what’s to come. In her new book, ” Melissa Explains It All: Tales From My Abnormally Normal Life ,” out October 29, the actress says she’ll dish on all the juicy details from her child star past, including more on her friendship with Brit!
